Who are we?

I’m Scott Cohen, a New York based photographer and filmmaker.

While I have worked in many ways to engage locally and globally as a citizen, I don't believe I've ever felt a calling as strong as the one I feel to support Senator Barack Obama for President in 2008. I have never contributed financially nor energetically toward a political campaign, until now!

My response to this calling is An Obama Minute, a grass roots effort in which thousands of us will come together on April 21st to donate what we can at once, raising $1,000,000 in 1 minute, An Obama Minute. All donations will go directly to An Obama Minute fundraising page on the Barack Obama site.

This event is a celebration of the “Obama factor” that is bringing individual citizens back into the frame of politics. It’s certainly not politics as usual. This is an opportunity for voices to be heard.

Spread the word to 10 friends and our powerful collective voice will usher in a truly historical minute on April 21st!

Thanks,

Scott Cohen
